Model is stitched on 40-count Maritime White hand-dyed fabric by Lakeside Linens.

Model is stitched with Weeks Dye Works Cotton Floss (DMC equivalent provided).

Deep Sea (3750) - 7 skeins (35 yards)

Floss estimation is for stitching with one strand of floss over two linen threads on 40-count fabric. DMC equivalent is only approximate, as there are no exact equivalents for hand-dyed fibers.

Entire design is stitched in cross-stitch.

I encourage you to use floss and fabric colors that match your personality and style.

About the design: Each square contains a hidden letter of the alphabet (taken from the center of the design) multiplied at least four times. Starting from the top left corner square (box 1) and reading left to right for each row – box one contains eight of the letter “A”, box two contains eight of the letter “B”, box three contains four of the letter “C”, and so on.

To design your own inscription sampler:
1. Choose a word – for example: first name, last name, or “welcome”
2. Stitch the squares containing the letters of your word.

Each individual square has a stitch count of 41 x 41.

Each square is the perfect size for a scissor fob, ornament, or needlebook.
