Set of eight holiday ornaments with finishing instructions.

Models are stitched on 40-count Light Examplar hand-dyed fabric by Lakeside Linens with one strand over both one and two linen threads.

Models are stitched with Weeks Dye Works Cotton Floss (DMC equivalents provided).

Weeks Dye Works Cotton Floss:
Hazelnut (434) - 1 skein
Ivy (3346) - 1 skein
Juniper (934) - 1 skein
Lancaster Red (221) - 3 skeins
Snowflake (White) - 1 skein
Whiskey (680) - 1 skein

Floss estimation is for stitching all eight ornaments (full size) with model specifics. DMC equivalents are only approximate, as there are no exact matches for hand-dyed floss.

Finishing supplies for all four ornaments (as shown):

DMC six-strand embroidery floss for twisted cord: 8 skeins - 221 (one skein per ornament)
Weeks Dye Works Wool Fabric - 1 Fat Quarter - 1333 Lancaster Red
Kreinik Custom Corder™ (mini drill)
Polyester stuffing
Basic sewing supplies

Piece contains cross stitch over two linen threads and cross stitch over one linen thread.

I encourage you to use floss and fabric colors that match your personality and style.

About the design: This is the first set of "letter" ornaments; "Green Letter Ornaments" will be released in November 2007.

For a smaller ornament, stitch the center square without the border. The smaller ornaments stitch up quite quickly and are perfect for gift giving. They are also a great size for gift tags.
