A tombstone needlebook, pinkeep, and scissor fob ~ along
with a unique stitched casket to hold them!

Models are stitched on 32-count Black Forest (Casket) and 32-count Tarnished Silver (Smalls) hand-dyed fabric from Lakeside Linens.

*NOTE*: Any 32-count black linen will work for the casket.

To stitch the casket with model specifics, you will need a 15” H x 27” W piece of 32-count black linen (this includes a 1” allowance for each piece) (diagram enclosed).

To stitch the needlework smalls with model specifics, you will need an 11” H x 15” W piece of 32-count Tarnished Silver linen (this includes a 1” allowance for each piece) (diagram enclosed).

Model is stitched with The Gentle Art Sampler Threads (DMC equivalent provided).

Avocado (3347) - 1 skein
Gold Leaf (3820) - 1 skein
Fragrant Cloves (921) - 1 skeins
Raven (310) - 3 skeins
Picket Fence (B5200) - 1 skeins

Floss estimation is for stitching all four pieces as directed on 32-count linen. DMC equivalents are only approximate, as there are no exact equivalents for hand over-dyed fibers.

Package contains charts for each of the four pieces, stitching instructions, complete finishing instructions, and a worksheet area and alphabet/numbers for personalization.

I encourage you to use floss and fabric colors that match your personality and style.

2 skeins DMC six-strand cotton embroidery floss - 310 (for twisted cord).

Baby Green Ric Rac (for perimeter of pinkeep)

Jumbo Black Ric Rac (for inside casket lid)

Matching Wool Felt (for needlebook pages)

Skirtex (for casket pieces)

Cotton Batting (for needlebook and pinkeep)

Matching Pins (for pinkeep)

Mat Board or Posterboard (for pinkeep)

Fiberfill or Cotton Balls (for stuffing scissor fob)

Three Thread Rings (for inside casket lid)(model uses thread rings from Kelmscott Designs)

A Black Shank Button (for casket closure)(model uses a vintage button)

Kreinik Custom Corder™ (mini drill for making twisted cord)

Basic sewing supplies, fabric glue, double-sided tape, and iron

Stitched casket is approximately 6 1/2 inches from "head to toe", 5 inches wide, and 2 1/4 inches deep (on 32-count linen).
