Floss estimation is for stitching the sampler and the four bookmarks shown as directed on 40-count linen. DMC equivalents are only approximate, as there are no exact equivalents for hand over-dyed floss.

Package contains charts for the sampler/bookmarks, stitching instructions, complete finishing instructions for the four styles of bookmarks shown, and a worksheet area with an alphabet/numbers for personalization.

I encourage you to use floss and fabric colors that match your personality and style.

Stitches:

Cross Stitch over two linen threads
Back Stitch
French or colonial knots (minimal - eyes only)
Nun Stitch (#2 bookmark only)
Satin Stitch

Be creative! There are many ways to "dress up" a bookmark - look though an old sewing box or basket to find inspiring ideas!
