Models
are stitched on 32-count Green Slate (Tree) and 32-count Sand Dune
(Smalls) hand-dyed fabric from Lakeside
Linens.
To
stitch the tree with model specifics, you will need a 18” H x 27”
W (Stitcher's Quarter) piece of 32-count Green Slate linen (this includes a 1” allowance for
each piece - diagram enclosed). You will have very little waste. Finishing instructions and template charts are scaled for 32 count fabric...and there is over-one stitching (the verse), so it is not recommended to change fabric count, unless you are an advanced stitcher and finisher.
To
stitch the needlework smalls with model specifics, you will need an 10”
H x 15” W piece of 32-count Sand Dune (golden) linen (this includes
a 1” allowance around the perimeter and 2" allowance between each piece) (diagram enclosed).
My stitched tree pieces before cutting apart - 1" allowance around perimeter and 1" between pieces - Stitcher's Quarter (18" x 27") of linen:

Weeks Dye Works Cotton Floss (DMC in parenthesis):
Curry (729) - 1 skein
Garnet (815) - 1 skein
Ivy (3364) - 1 skein
Juniper (934) - 4 skeins
Liberty (321) - 1 skein
Snowflake (White) - 1 skein
Tiger's Eye
(780) - 1 skein
Floss
estimation is for stitching all four pieces as directed on 32-count linen.
DMC equivalents are only approximate, as there are no exact equivalents
for hand over-dyed fibers.
Package
contains charts for each of the four pieces, stitching instructions, complete
finishing instructions, and a worksheet area and alphabet/numbers for personalization.
I
encourage you to use floss and fabric colors that match your personality and
style.
